GoSystem + K1 Aggregator Integration Setup

STEP 1

Create an account on the TR Developer Portalhttps://developers.thomsonreuters.com/pages/home 

STEP 2

Reach out to your TR rep and ask for their help to provision an API app for your GoSystem product.

Provide the following information in your request:

  1. The user email for the account tied to the Developer Portal.
  2. The required API model: https://developerportal.thomsonreuters.com/gosystem
  3. Request to enable any required subscriptions.
  4. Request that they set up the app in your Developer Portal and confirm when it's complete.

STEP 3

Set up your application

  1. Open the TR Developer Portal.
  2. Click on the new Application tile.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and enter the Callback URL: https://k1aggregator.k1x.io/integration/redirectgo
  4. Scroll to the top of the page and select Permissions to the left of the main content area.
  5. Ensure all users who should be able to use the K1 Aggregator integration are added.
  6. Go back to the Application Settings page.
  7. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret from your new GoSystem application.

STEP 4

  1. Log in to K1 Aggregator: https://k1aggregator.k1x.io/
  2. On the left menu, click Tenant Settings.
  3. Expand the GoSystem section.
  4. Enter your Client ID and Client Secret in the corresponding fields.
  5. Save your changes.

STEP 5

Click the Test button from the K1 Aggregator integration page. You should see the GoSystem login screen.

You should now be able to send investment activity data from K1 Aggregator. 

This integration process supports both the GoSystemRS and Onesource Income Tax Express RS products, the only change is that you will enter your Client ID and Client Secret in the ONESOURCE Income Tax Express section on Tenant Settings in K1 Aggregator. 

TIPS

A successful extraction requires the following fields in K1 Aggregator Instance Settings to match the data in the Onesource Income Tax Locator:
